We’ll work together to develop a plan that is tailored to your needs and goals, and moves at your pace.

How we can work together

  • Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy focuses on how your body holds and expresses your inner world and deeply painful past experiences. In session, this might look like paying attention to physical sensations, nervous system responses, and subtle shifts in your body. We might also use different tools to support your body in completing an innate process that got stuck. Working in this way can help build safety and capacity, process and discharge traumatic material, and help your system move through different internal states rather than feeling stuck in them.

  • Internal Family Systems

IFS is an approach that understands the mind as made up of different metaphorical “parts,” each shaped by your life experiences. Rather than seeing these parts as problems to be fixed, IFS views them as protective, meaningful responses that developed to help you cope with difficult life experiences.

At the center of this approach is the “Self”: a calm, compassionate core within you. From this place, you can better understand and relate to your inner experiences, supporting greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion.

  • Somatic and Attachment-Focused (SAFE) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR helps your brain process difficult or overwhelming experiences so they feel less intense and easier to live with. Instead of reliving the past, the goal is to help those memories become more settled and integrated.

SAFE EMDR builds on this approach by incorporating principles from attachment theory and somatic principles, with a focus on developing relational safety and intentional pacing. This can be especially helpful if you’ve experienced ongoing or early-life trauma, where building stability and trust is an important first step.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) helps reduce the distress connected to difficult memories, images, and body sensations. Using bilateral stimulation and guided imagery, you’re supported to shift how these experiences are held in your mind and body so they feel less overwhelming and easier to move forward from.
